The Covid-era job search process is proving more challenging with every passing month.

During networking meetings on Zoom, candidates are saying,

No one’s hiring.”

“I kept keep getting rejected by the ATS bots.”

“I’m a perfect fit for the posted job but nobody is responding.”

“Recruiters ghost me”.

Candidates share their stories of rejection, frustration and hopelessness. They experience a sense of powerlessness, recognizing they’ve put the fate of their careers in the hands of others. They wait…and wait. They react to on-line job alerts or referrals from their network. They create a lot of activity but little progress towards engaging with the hiring managers.

But it doesn’t have to be that way!

Ironically, hiring authorities complain they can’t find enough good people. Finding the right talent is still their number one priority despite receiving hundreds of resumes for each opening.

So what can candidates do to break through this logjam, be heard above the crowd and stand out in the minds of their future boss.

There are 7 ways to secure opportunities – 7 channels. Most candidates use no more that 3. And this presentation is about how to master one of them.

Charley Timmins will present a proactive, easy-to-execute method for getting meaningful conversations with hiring authorities. A proven way to get the attention of your target companies so they pay attention to your value proposition.

Attendees of this interactive Masterclass will learn the following:

  • A step-by-step process to motivate hiring managers to call you
  • How to help the companies you love create positions that better address their organizational challenges.
  • Why the way we think about finding work is dated, and a contrarian way to fix it.
  • Escape job insecurity by using this ‘create a job’ methodology to get employers to create the position of your dreams
  • Ensure job success and engage in meaningful work by creating a career plan built around your values, desires and strengths

The way we think about finding work is dated, and Charley offers a contrarian way to fix it. This method is market agnostic – working in both down markets and surging economies.

He will inspire you to take greater ownership of your career and put this non-traditional method into action. The goal remains getting you what you want most while giving employers what they need.

Most executives-in-transition struggle with their own branding, positioning and self-marketing. Conventional self-marketing efforts cause many to underachieve their career potential and settle.

Charley Timmins guides executives-in-transition to gain clarity around their authentic self,  help them gain control of their search and promote their competitive advantages to land meaningful positions.

Charley’s mission is to partner with those who are technically very good at what they do, but struggle to tell their authentic, branded story – clearly and impactfully – to those influencers and decision makers in search of distinctive talent.

As one client posted about Charley’s proprietary process, “Charley’s the guy you seek out when your “Plan A” isn’t working as expected. He’ll sort it out and suggest alternatives by the time the meeting ends.”
